Recess

For a quick lunch, check out Recess Eatery in Glendale. It's an adorable little place with a mini bakery of course to add to the cuteness! They have a great selection of sandwiches, wraps and salads. You can also B.Y.O.B and there's no corkage fee! I had the Pig Headed sandwich: prosciutto, arugula, fresh mozzarella, oil and vinegar. We also ordered the Benny's On Brand, basically eggs benedict, and an omelette.

  3. Miss Stevens... a mission! Are you up for it? I moved to here a year and a half ago, but I'm still trying to find my go-to spots. I spent the first year sitting in my apartment and saving my pennies just to pay for the necessities! Now, I'm ready to branch out.. or brunch out. (Bad joke?) There was a French restaurant in Savannah that I frequented on the regular. They had the most delicious brunches and macarons, and I've been needing some of those since.. October of 2009. After reading Yelp, I tried out Europane in Pasadena but was very underwhelmed with the ambience. Any suggestions?
